It's that time of the week again. And I learned...
1. After a bad night of work, do not stop at CVS and buy 4 big bags of M&Ms in 3 different flavors. I'll eat 2 of the bags myself in 24 hrs. Plus I feel ill. Enough chocolate until at least Halloween, so maybe it wasn't the worst thing to do lol
2. My scale and the scale at Curves are different. Here I thought I lost 1 1/2 pounds, only to find out I gained 2. So, I'll just add 2 pounds to my scale at home so I am consistent with Curves. However, I do love the number on my scale better :D
3. I'm back to making my granola, so I feel full so much longer and don't need to much. I feel so much better today already!
4. The one good thing about winter - Hubby R won't be fishing on the mornings I need to work out. Right now I'm lucky if I get my workouts in Thurs/Fri/Sat. It will be nice when he's not fishing so I can work out at least on Monday to keep my body going. But I can't tell him he can't go so I can go workout. It's just a few short weeks.
So even though the scale wasn't in my favor, I still put some clothes on and I think I look better in them. I think my body is getting put back in place for lack of a better description lol I can see bits here and there getting more tone, and that's what I want more than a number on the scale! So, I'm ending this week on that positive note!
Who else has started to change their physical self? I'd love to hear your story - why you started, how you've changed your meals, when you get your workouts in, etc.
Way to go!!! I am so amazed by women who have babies and then work their bodies back into shape. I can only imagine how that's gonna end up going for me. Yikes! Keep it up girl!
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that you work out at all is great. You are one up on me. I'm interested in Curves. Is it spendy? I'm just focusing on maintaining right now, but I'll have to step it up a notch soon. November 1 is right around the corner.
