I need your help. I feel like I am falling into a rut with cold lunch choices. I need some inspiration. It seems like every week I am just copying what I wrote last week, with nothing new or interesting added. Did I mention I could use some inspiration here? What are you putting in your kids lunches this week??
Here are our lunch choices this week: Updated 11-16-11
From the pantry: (pre-packed into single serving containers)
Chewy Granola Bars
Pretzels
Granola Thins
Bananas
Chocolate Cookies
Almonds
Dried Apricots
From the 'frig / freezer:
Cheddar Cheese Sticks
Carrots
Go-gurt
Cottage Cheese
Grapes
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Now it's your turn - I'd love to hear what's going to be in your child's lunchbox this week. Thanks in advance for sharing!
Line a hotdog bun with PB and pack a banana... then they can eat banana on a PB Bun.
ReplyDeleteTortilla roll-ups (cream cheese and whatever you want): These really aren't that hard to make, and you can make a few at a time and just wrap them in plastic wrap and unroll one each morning and slice to pack. Also try making it with PB&J!
We usually just pack up whatever we had for dinner last night for the two of us (we always make enough for lunch the next day). I'm not sure what I would do if I had kids who would probably want something "fun". Sorry! =(
