Menu Plan Monday - Lunchbox Edition

Since I started extreme couponing, I've decided that I just can't pay school lunch prices anymore.  We've decided to limit our kids to one hot lunch per week.  That means we need to pack at least 12 cold lunches each week - and reminds me why I've always let them eat hot lunch.  However, this time I am determined not to let packing cold lunches stress me out.

I've devised a new "lunch prep plan" which involves a little bit of prep on my part and a lot more involvement by the kids.  If you'd like to learn more about that, you can read about it here.

(P.S.  The cute lunch totes pictured are on clearance at Wal-Mart right now for $3.00 each.  I thought they were really cute and perfect for my girls, who are 10 & 13.)

Here are our lunch choices this week:

From the pantry: (pre-packed into single serving containers)
Bugles
Animal Crackers
Breakfast on the Go
Gushers Fruit Snacks
Chex Mix
Pretzels with Cheese (the dipping kind)
Pop Tarts

From the 'frig:
Cucumbers
Carrots
Yogurt
Grapes
Raspberries
Apple Juice Box (100% juice)
Pre-made ham sanwiches
Danimals Smoothies

From the freezer:
Uncrustables

Now it's your turn - I'd love to hear what's going to be in your child's lunchbox this week.  Thanks in advance for sharing!
