Blockbuster Express is now offering discount rental codes via text messages instead of online. If you have a texting plan, this is still a great deal. If you don't, it's probably cheaper than paying full price for a rental, but not quite as great as a totally free movie would be. Here's how it works: Text any of the key words below to 39777 to get a $1 off rental code. It will take about 10 minutes for the code to come to your phone. Then, just redeem the code you are sent at your nearest Blockbuster Express. Once the text is sent, you will have 10 days to use the code and there is a limit of 5 free codes that can be redeemed per day. Just remember that this is a standard text and all standard rates will apply. Here are the "magic words":
